SMART RESOURCE | Over a hundred words and phrases of encouragement for students to praise one anothers efforts. The resource outlines the best way to give and receive a compliment. It includes an activity to engage students and teachers to practise using a go to set of compliments. The cards have been colour coded in five sets of twenty cards. The Words of Encouragement can then be introduced in different sessions of learning or when the need arises. SMART RESOURCE | A visual way of demonstrating the simple art of conversation to young children. Speaking frames in the form of speech bubbles give students examples of greeting and fare welling people in a polite and friendly manner. The resource includes a set of black and white student sheets with a blank speech bubble. Students complete the speech bubble in their own words. Also there is a blank face with speech bubble; the students can draw themselves using polite conversation. Display the students work in a manner that forms a conversation.
