Speaking and Listening | What Would You Say?

SMART RESOURCE | The activity cards give every day scenarios for different social conventions. The students discuss what they would say in a given situation when greeting, inviting, asking permission and apologising. The resource includes two sets of cards- colour and white background. These can be used for display or student cards. There is an activity sheet with speech bubbles for the students to complete in a conversation style and blank cards for writing further scenarios. These could be collaboratively written with the class and added to the collection of cards.
