SMART RESOURCE | A visual way of demonstrating the simple art of conversation to young children. Speaking frames in the form of speech bubbles give students examples of greeting and fare welling people in a polite and friendly manner. The resource includes a set of black and white student sheets with a blank speech bubble. Students complete the speech bubble in their own words. Also there is a blank face with speech bubble; the students can draw themselves using polite conversation. Display the students work in a manner that forms a conversation.

The eight sentence starters help students to establish a clear and concise response when speaking about Mathematical understandings and strategies. The cards are suitable for individual or small group sharing.
