SMART RESOURCE | This resource is a classroom visual display of the Inquiry Based Learning steps. After the students have organised their inquiry they track the stages of their research by moving their car along the road to the next sign. The visual display gives an instant indication where the students are at in their inquiry and enables the teacher to see the class progress and offer encouragement and assistance where necessary. The display can also help the students with their time management and they also enjoy seeing their progress and achievement throughout the learning process.
SMART RESOURCE | A cheerful set of penguins wearing the six thinking hats. Each card outlines the type of thinking and questions students might ask a group or individual when planning an inquiry response, discussing a topic or writing a text.
SMART RESOURCE | The 16 Habits of Mind support skills to solve problem-based learning and inquiry-based learning.
