Essential Spelling | List 6 | Activities

List 6 provides learners with seventy high-frequency words. The words are presented on cards with a cybart image. The image and word help to form a visual marker for word identification. ‘Word Shape’ activities to aid spelling and create a ‘Word Find’ activity are included. A List 6 sheet of words and ‘How many words can you write?’ activity are additional. Finally, the Learning Intention and a further five activities are provided for student practice. Students should be encouraged to find the list words in their environment as well as use them in their reading and writing. The colour format is excellent for a teacher modelling books and student booklets.
