In the beginning stages of learning, the teddy bear and initial letter form a visual marker to assist the student to identify the word. An activity sheet Say it, Colour it, Write it allows for each word to be practised in isolation. A List 1 sheet of words and How many words can you write? activity is also included. Finally, the Learning Intention and a further five activities are provided for additional student practise to learn these words.
